Welcome to the first step of your journey become a Digital Leader.

Here at the Community Coding Club, we’ll give you the necessary tools for developing a ‘Computational Thinking’ mindset – the ability to tackle large problems by breaking them down into smaller, more manageable ones.

We believe the skills required for coding /programming, are not only immensely valuable career-wise, but also to your life. We’ll tell you how, a little later.

To engage effectively with a computer, you need the following:

– a logical mindset
– problem-solving mindset
– a mindset that sees errors as an opportunity to learn and improve

Considering the lightening pace of change in computing, the ability to code is not only an essential skill for young people, but one more and more adults are cultivating, as they begin to grasp the dire consequences of being left behind.

It’s never too late to learn. You too can master technology.

Learning Outcomes of Our Introduction Course Include;

In a world that’s increasingly more dominated by an ever-present advance in technology, the digital world is one that must be as natural to young people as science, language, and mathematics.  

To achieve this, we aim to provide every young student of every school in the United Kingdom, the opportunity to learn and develop programming skills; thereby not only empowering them to prosper in an ever-changing world, but also investing in Britain’s future.

At the Coding Club, students will develop the essential power of creative thinking, and fully imbibe the fundamentals that drive technology. 

In collaboration with teachers and stake-holders of the education sector across the country, we’ve developed a practical and fun programme that’s designed to foster a generation of tech innovators; thereby harnessing a nation of ‘builders’ and ‘entrepreneurs’. 

The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.

Alex: Okay.  What was your favorite thing about the coding club so far?

Neel: Learning new different commands and typing out really long codes.

Alex: would you go and learn any other coding languages?

Neel: Yes! java script, java, how to use a language in different way.

Alex: Okay.  Would you sign up to the Intermediate Course next term?

Neel: Definitely!
